Kvadrat Acoustics opens a new location in Poznań

Panattoni, the world’s most active industrial real estate developer, has secured a new tenant for its investment in Poznań. Kvadrat Acoustics will occupy 10,000 sqm at Panattoni Park Poznań East II.

Kvadrat Acoustics is a subsidiary of the Danish Kvadrat Group – a global leader in the design and manufacture of high-end textile and acoustic solutions. The company offers innovative, high-performance acoustic systems that combine excellent sound absorption with aesthetics and functional design. Its products improve acoustic comfort in spaces such as offices, conference rooms, educational, cultural, and recreational spaces.

The production and warehousing facilities, along with office facilities, will be relocated to the new location at Panattoni Park Poznań East II, allowing Kvadrat Acoustics to further optimize its operational processes and expand its business. The facility will primarily manufacture acoustic panels and other acoustic solutions. The tenant chose this facility due to, among other factors, the building’s high standard, appropriate functional layout, and its proximity to its current headquarters.

“The decision to choose the Panattoni logistics park in Poznań was a natural step in our company’s further development. The high standard of the facility and the ability to adapt the space to our production processes were key. BREEAM certification, which aligns with the company’s sustainable development strategy, was also crucial. Another advantage was the location, which allows us to maintain operational continuity and employee comfort while providing conditions that meet current and future business needs,” comments Krzysztof Hadzlik, Managing Director of Kvadrat Acoustics in Poland.

The company will begin operations in the park in August of this year. Panattoni will adapt the space to the tenant’s requirements, incorporating additional lighting: natural – arcade rooflights in the roof and façade, and artificial lighting with an intensity of 500 lux, hall heating, workstations with access to electricity and compressed air, and internal partitioning of production and warehouse zones. Furthermore, IT and CCTV systems will be installed in the building.

“We are delighted that another client has chosen a Panattoni investment, appreciating the high quality of the space, which can be adapted to specific processes, and the standard that meets the growing demands of modern business,” says Katarzyna Kujawiak, Regional Managing Director, Central Poland & Greater Poland at Panattoni. “Poznań has long been one of the most important logistics markets in Poland, combining a strategic location on the east-west axis with excellent transport infrastructure and a strong human resources base. This location naturally attracts both international companies and those expanding their operations on a national or European scale.”

Panattoni Park Poznań East II is a modern Class A complex, providing excellent connections to key regions in Poland. It is also an excellent distribution point towards Western Europe and Scandinavia. The facility is located near the A2 motorway, and near the development, the motorway intersects with the S11 expressway (Poznań Krzesiny junction), which connects Silesia to Pomerania, and the S5 expressway (Poznań Wschód junction), which connects the capital of Greater Poland with Wrocław in the south and Bydgoszcz in the north.

In accordance with the developer’s standards, the development has received a BREEAM environmental certificate with an Excellent rating.
