InPost strengthens its base in Europe
The InPost Group has launched the OPO II Logistics and Service Center at CTPark Opole, supporting the operation of parcel lockers destined for European markets. The new space in the OPOL01 building provides key operational support for the company’s international growth.
- InPost has occupied a total of 6,733 square meters (including 6,207 square meters of warehouse space and 526 square meters of office space).
- At CTPark Opole, InPost conducts comprehensive processes related to preparing parcel lockers for operation – from service and configuration, through labeling, to in-depth diagnostics before further shipment.
- OPO II supports InPost operations in countries including the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, and Italy.
The launch of the center at CTPark Opole significantly strengthens the company’s international logistics and service infrastructure. The scale of InPost’s operations is impressive – approximately 700 parcel lockers pass through the facility monthly, and the center handles an average of 60 shipments per week. The investment also contributes to the creation of new, specialized jobs in the region.
“The OPO II Logistics and Service Center in Opole is a key hub in our European operational network. From here, parcel lockers depart for the UK, Spain, Portugal, and Italy – fully configured, tested, and ready to operate from day one,” said Waldemar Brzoska, Director of the Expansion and Deployment Office at InPost Group.
“Opole is a natural choice for us – our excellent location, infrastructure, and access to qualified employees allow us to process hundreds of devices per month and maintain supply chain efficiency at the level required by foreign markets,” he added.
Opole: A Good Address for Logistics
Opole is consistently strengthening its position as a location chosen by companies from various industries. Its strategic location between the main economic centers of southern Poland, convenient access to road infrastructure, and extensive labor pool make the region an extremely attractive location for projects requiring efficient distribution and specialized skills.
“The space was designed for production from the outset, allowing InPost to quickly enter the facility and efficiently launch operations without the need for time-consuming adaptations. We are pleased to provide InPost with flexible space that precisely meets the company’s operational needs and supports the further expansion of the parcel locker infrastructure in Europe,” says Piotr Merta, Business Developer at CTP Polska.
CTPark Opole is a modern business and logistics complex located in the northwestern part of the city, adjacent to the ring road providing direct access to the A4 motorway.
In addition to InPost, companies such as Raben Group, Rohlig SUUS Logistics, Shanghai Pret Composites, UFI Filters, TitanX Engine Cooling, PUKY, Opolgraf, Inteva Products Poland, and ELSTEEL operate at CTPark Opole.
