BYD develops logistics in Poland

BYD, a manufacturer of electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids, and traction batteries, has launched its first spare parts logistics center in Poland. The facility is located in Moszna-Parcela (Brwinów commune) near Warsaw.

• The facility is operated by Jingdong Logistics (JD Logistics), a logistics company owned by JD.com, one of the world’s largest e-commerce and logistics leaders.
• The center collaborates with BYD’s main European spare parts warehouse in the Netherlands and other distribution centers in Europe.

The new logistics center currently occupies 3,000 square meters and was designed with BYD’s long-term growth in the Polish market in mind. Its scalable infrastructure allows for the gradual expansion of warehouse space as vehicle sales and demand for spare parts increase.

Warehouse with Night Delivery System

Ultimately, the availability of original parts will reach at least 95%, ensuring even higher quality service and greater availability of components for customers.

One key element of the new solution is the night delivery system. Dealers receive ordered parts by 8:00 AM the next business day, shortening repair times, reducing vehicle downtime, and enabling faster delivery of vehicles to customers.

“The launch of the first spare parts logistics center in Poland is the next step in building our local infrastructure. Thanks to this investment, we can even better support the dealer network, ensure high availability of original parts, and offer customers the highest level of service,” explains Michał Bowsza, Country Manager for BYD and DENZA.

JD Logistics to operate the BYD warehouse

The facility is operated by Jingdong Logistics (JD Logistics), a logistics company owned by JD.com, one of the world’s largest leaders in e-commerce and logistics.

The center collaborates with BYD’s main European spare parts warehouse in the Netherlands and other distribution centers across Europe, ensuring the efficient flow of components to the Polish dealer network.
