Accolade focuses on Szczecin

Accolade has completed the Szczecin-Trzebusz II project, the next stage in the expansion of the company’s portfolio in the Szczecin region. The new facility offers over 25,500 square meters of modern industrial and logistics space and is leased to companies from the logistics and distribution sectors. In the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Accolade’s portfolio currently encompasses nearly 530,000 square meters across six parks, with a target capacity of approximately 900,000 square meters. The investment strengthens the Szczecin region’s position as one of the key logistics hubs in western Poland, benefiting from its proximity to Germany, access to ports, and developing transport infrastructure.

For over a decade, the West Pomeranian Voivodeship has been one of Accolade’s key growth areas in Poland, with the Szczecin region serving as the natural center of this logistics system. The importance of this part of the country is determined by, among other factors. Its location on the German border, access to the Szczecin-Świnoujście ports, and the ability to handle cargo flows between Poland, Western Europe, and the markets of Northern Europe are all key advantages. The location’s position is reinforced by the growing role of the Szczecin-Świnoujście port complex, which in 2025 recorded record transshipment of 34.79 million tons, a 7.5% increase over the previous year, amid particularly dynamic growth in container handling.

“West Pomerania, and the Szczecin region in particular, has not always been such an obvious choice for warehousing investors as it is today, but we have recognized its long-term potential from the outset. Its proximity to Germany, access to ports, developing infrastructure, and the ability to serve the markets of Western and Northern Europe create advantages that are gaining in importance year after year. Today, Szczecin is one of our most important markets in Poland and a modern logistics hub with increasing international significance.” The completion of the Szczecin-Trzebusz II project is another step in consistently strengthening our portfolio in the region,” says Joanna Sinkiewicz, Managing Director of Accolade in Poland.

The Szczecin-Trzebusz II project aligns with Accolade’s strategy of long-term development of regional industrial and logistics hubs. Modern space in the region meets the needs of logistics, distribution, retail, and manufacturing companies seeking well-connected locations near the western border and ports. The expansion of Accolade’s portfolio in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship supports the local labor market and strengthens the Szczecin region’s position on the Polish warehousing map.

“For years, Szczecin has consistently strengthened its position as one of the key logistics hubs in western Poland. This is primarily due to its unique location – proximity to the German border, direct access to ports, as well as the developing road and rail infrastructure, which opens the city to markets throughout Western and Northern Europe.” We have well-prepared investment sites that meet the real needs of companies in the logistics, distribution, and manufacturing sectors. Growing investor interest in this market segment confirms that Szczecin is now a natural choice for companies seeking an effective operational base at the intersection of the Polish and Western European markets. This is a potential we will continue to develop, so we are thrilled by every new investment in this area,” says Michał Przepiera, Deputy Mayor of Szczecin.

“The high occupancy rate for the new facility demonstrates that, despite greater market selectivity, well-connected locations continue to attract tenants. Companies are looking not only for space but also for infrastructure that allows them to efficiently serve customers, shorten supply chains, and build operational resilience. The Szczecin region responds very well to these needs,” adds Joanna Sinkiewicz.

Road investments will also boost the agglomeration’s long-term potential. In May 2026, a contract was signed for the construction of the S6 Police–Goleniów section, which is part of the Szczecin Western Bypass. The 23.4-kilometer route will include a 5-kilometer tunnel under the Oder River, which is planned to be the longest road tunnel in Poland. The first two sections of the bypass are scheduled to open in 2029, and the tunnel section in 2033.
