DPD expands its footprint in Ruda Śląska

One of the market leaders in courier services – DPD Polska – has decided to expand its operations at the Hillwood Ruda Śląska warehouse park. The existing 13,200 sq m has been expanded by an additional 4,700 sq m.

The expansion at Hillwood Ruda Śląska is a response to the dynamic growth in shipment volume. As a result of the expansion of operations, the tenant has leased an additional 4,700 sq m of modern space, the vast majority of which will be designated for warehousing purposes. Once the expansion is complete, the total area occupied by DPD at Hillwood Ruda Śląska will reach nearly 18,000 sq m.

The warehouse expansion process will be completely seamless for the client. Construction work has been planned to avoid disruption to DPD’s ongoing logistics processes.

Hillwood Ruda Śląska is a modern warehouse park offering over 63,000 square meters of logistics space, designed to meet the needs of logistics operators, e-commerce companies, and light manufacturing. The investment is located within the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis, strategically located on national road No. 925 (Rybnik-Bytom) and the Katowice-Gliwice Intercity Expressway, ensuring efficient distribution services on a regional and national scale.

The project benefits from excellent transport accessibility, including quick access to the A4 and A1 motorways, as well as convenient proximity to key airports: approximately 30 km to Katowice International Airport in Pyrzowice and approximately 80 km to Krakow Airport. The park offers flexible lease units and high-class technical standards, meeting the growing demand for modern logistics space in one of Poland’s most important industrial hubs.
