LPP is building an e-commerce warehouse in Tczew
A new LPP Group warehouse will be built in Tczew. The modern facility, scheduled for commissioning in the first quarter of 2027, will be dedicated entirely to handling the dynamically growing online sales of LPP brands. The development of the logistics infrastructure managed by LPP Logistics is a key element of the online sales scaling strategy, which aims to strengthen the Group’s advantage in international markets.
The LPP Group has signed an agreement to purchase land from the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone for a new logistics investment. In the southern part of Tczew, the company will build a warehouse to process online orders. The investment will be located near the LPP Distribution Center in Pruszcz Gdański and directly adjacent to the junction of national road no. 22 with the A1 motorway. This location will ensure efficient transport of e-commerce shipments in Poland and abroad.
“Ensuring an appropriate operational scale while maintaining optimal logistics costs is one of the key factors supporting further expansion and building a competitive advantage for the LPP Group.” The investment in Tczew is another step that reinforces the Group’s dynamic growth and allows us to freely scale operations at a pace that matches growing online sales. Advanced technologies will increase process efficiency, and thanks to the excellent location and full integration with the LPP Logistics ecosystem, we will significantly streamline the entire supply chain and improve the quality of our customer service in the e-commerce channel,” comments Sebastian Sołtys, President of LPP Logistics.
The property will house a total area of 60,000 m², consisting of a warehouse and a two-story office and staff building. Ultimately, it is planned to expand to 100,000 m². The facility will accommodate over 8 million items of goods, with an expected daily processing volume of over 400,000 items of clothing and accessories.
The new fulfillment center will be based on advanced automation, which will increase operational efficiency and improve employee ergonomics. The use of a fleet of over a thousand robots and the automation of the packaging line are intended to ensure maximum operational efficiency of the facility while simultaneously reducing the burden on employees in manual processes. The building will be designed in accordance with sustainable construction principles and with careful development of green areas, including the introduction of greenery and abundant plantings, which will allow the investment to blend harmoniously with the surrounding landscape.
“The LPP Group’s investment in Tczew is a good example of effectively leveraging the potential of companies with Polish capital in developing the regional economy. Such projects strengthen local supply chains and foster the development of an ecosystem of cooperation with small and medium-sized enterprises. At the same time, they align with the objectives of the Polish Investment Zone implemented by the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone and our strategy of attracting projects with high operational value and long-term economic impact,” says Mirosław Kamiński, President of the Management Board of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone.
This new investment also provides a development stimulus for the region. The project, implemented in close consultation with the Tczew authorities, has the potential to strengthen the city’s economic attractiveness and thus bring tangible benefits to the local community.
“I am pleased that one of Pomerania’s largest companies has chosen to implement such a significant investment in Tczew. This is a clear signal that our city is an attractive and reliable partner for large businesses. Thanks to its strategic location and excellent transport accessibility, Tczew is consistently strengthening its position as a key investment destination in the region. I hope that this investment will be the beginning of a long-term, fruitful cooperation that will benefit both the company and our entire local community,” emphasizes Łukasz Brządkowski, Mayor of Tczew.
The warehouse in Tczew, operated by LPP Logistics, is the seventh fulfillment center facility in the LPP Logistics portfolio. The three additional distribution centers are also a key element of the LPP Group’s logistics network.
