FIEGE’s expansion in western Poland
FIEGE is strengthening its presence in western Poland, taking up over 20,000 square meters of space in the Accolade parks in Zielona Góra, Gorzów Wielkopolski, and Goleniów. The operator is expanding its operations in two locations and extending its agreement in a third, confirming the strategic importance of the border region for logistics operations.
FIEGE’s decisions are consistent with the growing importance of Poland’s western logistics corridor, which includes Goleniów, Gorzów Wielkopolski, and Zielona Góra. Thanks to its proximity to the German border and efficient road connections to Western European markets, this region allows companies to shorten supply chains and bring operations closer to key customers. For logistics operators, this provides a real competitive advantage – shorter delivery times, greater operational flexibility, and the ability to serve both the domestic and export markets from a single, well-connected location.
As part of a decision involving three locations, FIEGE is expanding its operations in western Poland. At Accolade Funds Park Zielona Góra, the operator is increasing its occupied space by over 6,600 sq m, to approximately 12,300 sq m. At Goleniów Park, the expansion covers an additional nearly 10,000 sq m, with a target occupancy of 25,900 sq m. At Accolade Funds Park Gorzów Wielkopolski, the company extended its lease for over 4,200 sq m, with a total occupancy of 15,300 sq m, confirming the stability of its operations at these locations.
“Expansions and extensions within a single portfolio are a particularly important signal for us. They demonstrate not only tenant loyalty but also the growing need for operational hypermobility – companies today must quickly respond to changes in demand, optimize processes, and scale operations without the risk of downtime. Regional locations offer stability, space availability, and the ability to flexibly scale up their business. It is in such markets that we see a real competitive advantage today,” emphasizes Agnieszka Niezgodzka, Director – Asset Management at Accolade in Poland.
“For many years, FIEGE has treated western Poland as one of our key development directions. This region is a natural place for further expansion, as experienced operational teams already operate there, and the development of subsequent projects allows us to achieve clear synergies between locations in cities such as Zielona Góra, Gorzów Wielkopolski, and Goleniów. Our expansions are possible primarily thanks to the continuous improvement of our logistics processes and the consistent maintenance of very high quality customer service. Many of them are growing with us, increasing the scale of operations and warehouse space in the region. At the same time, we are pleased that we are also signing agreements with new business partners in western Poland, who recognize the potential of this location and entrust us with managing their supply chains. This shows that the border region remains one of the most important logistics hubs in the country, and for us – a place of further dynamic growth,” emphasizes Tomasz Przybył, Sales Director. and Marketing at FIEGE.
