ATC Cargo invests in Barniewice

ATC Cargo has launched operations in its new logistics center in Barniewice. This 70,000-square-meter Class A facility was designed to fully automate fulfillment processes and support e-commerce.

• The warehouse is equipped with a VNA induction forklift system and robotic operations, making it one of the most technologically advanced facilities in the country.
• 10,000 square meters of space is dedicated to the storage of ADR 9 goods, including batteries and energy storage products, in accordance with exceptionally stringent safety standards.
• The BREEAM-certified facility utilizes a photovoltaic system and offers access to key transport routes in the Tricity area, the airport, and the PKM (Polish Railway Line).

New 70,000-square-meter logistics center

ATC Cargo has launched operations in its new logistics center in Barniewice – a 70,000-square-meter Class A facility, one of the largest warehouse spaces currently available in the region. The warehouse was designed with a focus on functionality and operational efficiency, aligning it with the company’s new development strategy, which includes both infrastructure expansion and a redefinition of the customer support model in the e-commerce space.

Fulfillment and e-commerce at the heart of the new strategy

The facility is dedicated to fulfillment operations and e-commerce support. It is equipped with high-bay racking operated by a VNA induction truck system and solutions that automate warehouse processes. Operations in the warehouse will be carried out by robots, making it one of the most modern facilities of its kind in Poland.

Approximately 10,000 square meters of space is dedicated to handling ADR 9 class dangerous goods. The area was designed in accordance with the most stringent safety standards, allowing for the storage of items such as batteries and products containing energy storage – a solution rarely found among logistics operators in Poland.

Sustainability and Certification

The facility is BREEAM certified and equipped with a rooftop photovoltaic installation. The surrounding area features public charging stations for electric vehicles – both passenger cars and trucks. The investment is consistent with ATC Cargo’s broader environmental initiatives.

Location Provides Access to Key Routes

Barniewice offers access to Tricity ports, the modernized Tricity bypass, the S6 expressway, and the Metropolitan Bypass connecting the A1 with the S7 and S6. The facility is also adjacent to Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport and the Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway station, providing quick connections to the Tricity metropolitan area.
